Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, continued his goal scoring form for Watford as he scored twice for the Hornets who spanked SC Verl 4-1 in a pre-season game played on Wednesday in Germany.
It was his fifth goal in the pre-season campaign for the newly promoted EPL campaigners.
The former Granada player gave his side the lead in the 16th and doubled the lead 40th minute to put the Hornets two goals up.
He was replaced in the 57th minute by Matěj Vydra.
Scotland international, Ikechi Anya and Lloyd Dyer were also on target despite Hamadi Al-Ghaddioui consolatory goal from the spot for SC Verl.
Recall that on Saturday, Ighalo was on target for Watford who was held to a 2-2 draw against Wimbledon and prior to the game against Wimbledon, the former Udinese forward had scored a brace in Watford's 4-0 thumping of St. Albans.
