We're back at this stage of negotiating with Theo Walcott again.
He clearly has an agent working hard for him but seriously, after what this period of negotiation did last time I'm tempted to get rid and let him go to Liverpool or wherever his agent is passing his name around to.
At the moment we have the Ox (when fit), Welbeck, Sanchez, Ozil and a whole raft of other options. Just those I mentioned don't get injured the way he does. Now I'm not saying Theo is bad, on the contrary, I love his style of play and the fact he can now finish.
But, he is injured a lot. Really, a lot. Because he sells shirts and gets a good run of games in between being injured I can understand why we would be looking to improve on the contract but I honestly think we could get rid if he going to put us through this again. Henry (the real 14) he is not.
Now, sign da (latest) ting or go. Liverpool, fine, wherever I'm just bored of it. With the money coming back into the coffers from a sale we could actually buy the player(s) we need such as Schneiderlin and Cavani. In fact, I think we should be moving towards that goal now.
