Football will always hold one spell bound whether consciously or unconsciously... Now that's why we love the beautiful game. This weekend has been a work ridden one (to imagine I thought the year was over already) but then I still had to do my compilation which for me makes my weekend complete!!!

PROPS
1) FALCONETS
After dispatching Sierra Leone in the previous round, the Peter Dedevbo tutore Falconets of Naija show that its destination Canada for they as they beat Tunisia 4-nil in the 1st Leg of the 2nd Round of Qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup... You go gurls!!!
2) NEYMAR
Who cares if Messi is injured, Neymar is in da building (Just kidding)! But then we have to give it to the young Brazilian, he showed that his hatrick in midweek was not a fluke as he got the brace that gave Barca victory over Villarreal. He sure is fitting in well.
3) LIVERPOOL
Nickname Wicked People... Liverpool Demolished, Decapitated, Destroyed De... Tottenham in their own backyard 5-nil with a command performance. And what can I say about Suarez???? = Simply Amazing!!!
4) NAPOLI
The crowd may love their former boss, Walter Mazzari but not the players. They defeated Inter Millan 4-2 in convincing fashion - a display that reminds us they are contenders.
FLOPS
1) AL AHLY
African Champions / African team of the century my foot.... Al Ahly has continued to show that they can only be local champions as they failed once again on the international stage as they were knocked out of the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup.... SMH!!! (Even TP Mazembe made the final in 2010)
2) TOTTENHAM
(Or should that be AVB now????)Falling by 5 unreplied goals at home shows clearly there is a problem at White Hart Lane. It was a show of shame from Spurs and AVB is just hanging on his last life. I wonder why they spent over £100 million in summer. #Pathetic
3) REAL MADRID
The Yo-Yo performance continued for Real Madrid as they managed a 2-2 draw at Osasuna. Missing Ronaldo??? No he played but struggled and No thanks to Ramos. Now they trail fierce rivals BArcelona and New Powers, Atletico Madrid.
4) Like LEVERKUSEN Like DORTMUND
Another huge disappointment in Europe are these two who seem to have handed Bayern Munich the Bundesliga Title. Bayer Leverkusen is worse though as they lost at home to Frankfurt. Dortmund on the other hand drew 2-2 at Hoffenheim.
