- Samuel Eto'o is expected to arrive in London for talks with Chelsea as an agreement on a Transfer to Stamford Bridge nears completion.
- Arsenal are to make a move for Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, 27, after the apparent failure of their pursuit of Liverpool's Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan has apologised to his Anfield team-mates for trying to leave the club.
- However another alternative to Rooney for the Stamford Bridge outfit could be Jackson Martinez, 26, of Porto.
- Liverpool are leading the chae to sign West Brom forward Shane Long according to Sports Direct News. The 26 year old has refused to sign a new contract and the Baggies are said to be ready to listen to offers of around £10m
- Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will not allow defender David Luiz to leave the club despite Barcelona tracking the 26-year-old.

Reports emerged that Khedira was closing in on a move to PSG, but according to the Metro, Chelsea are still in with a chance of luring him to Stamford Bridge.
