The maiden event which took place last year was filled with colors, pomp and pageantry, attracting guests and spectators of over a thousand people.

This edition hosts 4 orphanage homes playing soccer against each other.
The orphanage homes which are spread across Lagos state will lay in a subtly competitive battle. Konami2014 isn't so competitive for the orphanage homes.
The idea behind those games simply is to create an avenue for fun among these orphans. In which, everybody becomes a winner.

The phrase "Everybody is a winner" wouldn't settle well with the other teams as they look to come and gain bragging rights.
There are also side attraction Matches which include; Unilag, Babcock, Bridgehouse, Oxbridge, Team Ruby (Female team), Team London, Team Platinum (Celebrity Team) and Team Lagos.

Unilag vs Babcock
Oxbridge vs Bridgehouse
Team London vs Team Lagos
Team Ruby(female) vs Team Platinum (celebrity).
All soccer matches always have a referee. At Konami, these referees are going to be celebrities which serve as a means of bridging the gap between the less privileged and well known in the society.
In this edition of Konami, Rave of the moment "PATORANKING" and Mavin Records new act "KOREDE BELLO" are the names announced as this year's officials.
A Unilag undergraduate "BUKKY" has also been announced as an official for the event.

Other than the matches, the orphans get to enjoy fun on bouncing castles, bull rides, face painting, dancing competitions, mascots and water skies.
The general public is encouraged by the organizing team of konami, "Change Africa Project" to bring old but still useful clothes, food items, food items and whatever can be share with these orphans to the event.
The Konami event also features musical performances from acts such as; Yung L, Falz the bahd guy, Lil Kesh and so on. There are also going to be a guest appearances and celebrity players.
