Kenneth Omeruo had a sterling game as Nigeria beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-0. The 20-year-old Chelsea powerhouse was the Man of the Match as he inspired and lead by example to keep the likes of Edin Dzeko and Miralem Pjanic at bay.
The game was a tense encounter, as Nigeria’s opposition kept knocking on the door as they looked to keep their World Cup dreams alive. But Omeruo was having none of that, he wanted to earn his side their first World Cup win since 1998 and he inspired his side against a vibrant European outfit.
Here are some twitter reactions to his performance
Omeruo @omeruo22 had Dzeko in his back pocket all day long. When he lost him, Enyeama was an impassable wall #ShineOnNigeria
