Hey Footballcentric folks! Welcome to a break of a New Dawn on the Wolexis Sports Blog.
If you love Unique Unprecedented Content, this is what this partnership is set to serve you... For this weekend, here are my assessment of the Props and Flops
PROPS
1. Arsenal.
Yeaa believe it or not they are my No. 1 prop and believe it or not they would have been making this list if I had written this piece for the last 5 weeks! The Gunners travelled to Wales and decapitated Cardiff City in the EPL, the same team that beat Manchester City and fought back to a well-deserved draw against Champions Manchester United. If you are not taking Arsenal serious by now (You are on your own!!!)
2. Vincent Enyeama.
The Super Eagles and Lille safe hands is gradually inching closer to the Ligue 1 record for the number of minutes without conceding a goal as he kept another clean sheet against Valenciennes. It sure will be a good way to cap the year for the AFCON Champion!
3) Klassic Kaka.
Leave the Spelling of "Classic" (It's all about Poetic License) - just focus on the Kaka! The Former World player of the year has sure hit form lately and beyond his goals his contribution to the result gotten by AC Milan in recent times show it wasn't a bad idea bringing him back from the Bernabeu!
4) Gareth Bale.
Okay some of you said he's not worth £86 million... But after putting that injury blight behind him he has shown the La Liga (and even the UCL) what made Fiorentino Perez come calling. Hatrick at the weekend against Valladolid gets him on this list. (Neymar over to you... #JustSaying)
5) Hull City
They make this list 'cos of their First win in 16 meetings over Liverpool and it was a well-deserved win for the Tigers.
FLOPS
1 Roberto Soldado.
The Spaniard has sure proven to be "No Value For Money" for Spurs since his move from Valencia in summer (well except for penalties). This weekend he was also largely the reason why AVB's side drew with United.
2 Liverpool.
The Reds remind me of my recent performance on PES 13... 1 good performance and 5 bad performance. That was what we saw from Liverpool as they were taken to the cleaners by Hull City.
3 AS Roma.
Well they keep deceiving us with the "we are yet to lose line" but AS Roma are sure losing ground every week in the race for the Serie A title. They drew again this weekend against Atalanta (their fourth in a row)!
4) Martin Jol
First I don't need to say much cos while doing this compilation, I got the news of his sack. Marin Jol's Fulham lost their 6th game in a row in the EPL in a 3-nil defeat at West Ham and the board could just take it no more.
