James Milner Swaps The Etihad For Anfield
James Milner has decided against signing a contract at Manchester City as Liverpool have announced he’d the joining the reds, subject to a medical.
Milner’s contract with the citizens is scheduled to expire this summer and the former Aston Villa midfielder has opted against signing an extension, presumably in search of more regular football.
Since arriving in 2010, James Milner never truly established himself as a regular in Eastlands, and at 29, its probably only fair he seeks a more regular berth in a starting XI.

Disgraced former FIFA vice president, Jack Warner has threatened to implicate outgoing president, Joseph Sepp Blatter in the ongoing storm that has rocked the governing body.
The Trinidadian who was part of the 14 indicted by the United States department of justice, just 2 days before the FIFA election held last week, has promised to release details of FIFA’s involvement in the Trinidad and Tobago elections back in 2010.
In a presser televised on TV6, Jack claimed he had evidence of “a link between FIFA, its funding and the United national congress and The People’s Partnership Government in general elections in 2010”.
He also claimed his evidence directly implicates Blatter and was quoted as saying; “It also deals with my knowledge of international transactions at FIFA, including its president Mr. Sepp Blatter and, lastly, other matters involving the nation’s current prime minister”.
Belgium Move To Second On Latest FIFA Rankings
Belgium have moved above Argentina into second place in the latest update of the FIFA rankings, their highest position ever.
Despite not playing a game in the last rankings period but gained a place by virtue of devaluation of previous results.
Belgium next come up against France (9th) in a friendly this Sunday before visiting Wales (22nd) for a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier the following Friday.
Chiellini To Miss Champions League Final
Juventus’ hopes of winning a first champions league title in 20 years took a major hit yesterday as defensive rock, Giorgio Chellini picked up a calf injury in training.
The defender was examined and he was found to have sustained a grade-one injury to his calf, ruling him out of the Old Ladies’ first appearance in the final of the competition since losing out to AC Milan in 2003.
In a statement on their official website, Juventus stated; “The defender will not be available for the match against Barcelona.”
