Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel has shunned his national team duties to rather be with girlfriend.

The midfielder according to Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi did not respond to calls to represent his country in the upcoming 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Chad.

Keshi during a press conference on Thursday, May 21 at the Bolton White Apartment Hotel Abuja revealed that he has been shunned by the midfielder.

The midfielder after a post-season engagement with Chelsea, has jetted out to Dubai with his girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko for a vacation.

Olga has posted a series of photos of herself and her boyfriend on a summer trip to Dubai.

In one of her photos, the loved up pair was standing behind the tallest man-made structure in the world, Burj Khalifa which is located in Dubai.
