- German daily newspaper Bild has learned that Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is set to be rewarded with a new contract at Volkswagen Arena. De Bruyne currently earning €5 million gross per season, he will be taking home at least €8.5 million when he extends his contract that will also contain a €60 million release clause.
- Colombian striker Jackson Martinez is interested in joining Spanish giants Valencia, according to the player’s official representative. Following yet another impressive campaign, the 28-year-old is widely expected to leave FC Porto for greener pastures, although he will not be available on the cheap.
- Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Juventus have reached an agreement to recruit Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto. The Bianconeri have long been considered favourites for the player’s signature and the latest reports suggest the deal is all but wrapped up.
