Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi has set a new record in the colours of Chelsea after winning his second EPL title in five years at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigerian star who is poised to make his comeback to the national team for next month's AFCON qualifiers against Chad and Tanzania scored six points his best ever season score as Chelsea have secured a fifth league title with three matches to spare has had 5 shots on target in his last four seasons for Chelsea in the Premier League.
"Underappreciated by a significant section of the Chelsea support, Mikel has been the same as ever: quietly performing his role in midfield on the rare occasions he is called upon.
