Southampton 2-1 Tottenham
The Saints have found goals hard to come by recently, but have a decent record at home. Tottenham got back to winning ways this past weekend, but may struggle to break down Ronald Koeman’s defence.
Harry Kane ended his mini goal drought against Newcastle, but he is likely to be on the losing side this time around.
Burnley 1-0 Leicester
The Foxes have been in fantastic form recently, while Burnley have slipped down the table following narrow losses against Everton and Arsenal.
Sean Dyche’s side have a superb defensive record at home however, and should be able to keep their fellow relegation strugglers out.
Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull
Palace suffered something of a shock loss against West Brom last time out, and will be looking to get back to winning ways. Alan Pardew has made the Eagles one of the in form teams in the Premier League since he took over, something that cannot be said about Hull.
Manchester City 2-3 Aston Villa
Villa have been fantastic under Tim Sherwood, and will be buoyed by their advancement to the FA Cup final.
City on the other hand, have been in woeful form, and have gone from being title challengers to top four hopefuls.
The Villains could cause an upset at the Etihad, although on current form it might not even be a surprise.
The Tigers have been really poor recently, and if they continue on this downward spiral then they could see themselves slip into the bottom three.
Everton 1-1 Manchester United
United are one of the in form teams in the Premier League at the moment, despite their disappointing loss against Chelsea recently.
Everton have been resurgent recently too however, and it may be hard to separate these two sides at Goodison Park.
This game all depends on Diego Costa. If Costa’s fit it’s a different game, but if he ain’t fit I can’t see any goals.
Newcastle 0-1 Swansea
The Magpies have been shocking since the departure of Pardew, and John Carver has failed to get them firing since taking the reins.
The Swans have been somewhat erratic recently, but could just edge things against a poor Newcastle side.
Queens Park Rangers 3-2 West Ham
QPR head into this game fully rested and looking to save their season. West Ham have seen their campaign collapse in the second half of the season, and look unable to change their fortunes.
The Hoops haven’t had a problem scoring recently, but have been leaky at the back. This game should have goals in it, but either side could come out on top.
Stoke 2-1 Sunderland
Stoke have been excellent at home this season – as usual. It’s hard to see Sunderland getting anything out of this game, despite their derby day win against Newcastle.
Where do you start with Liverpool? They lost the FA Cup semi-final last week. Man Utd beat them the other week. But I am going to go for Liverpool here as this game might play into their hands.
They’ll have a go at West Brom and West Brom like teams sitting back so they can counter attack them. The Baggies won’t have to take the game to Liverpool as the away side will do that, and anyway I reckon Liverpool will be on a backlash.
Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea
Tactically, Mourinho can go somewhere and make it very difficult and Arsenal have that tendency to shoot themselves in the foot if it is tight and Chelsea are defending well. Last week, Chelsea had 30 per cent of the play at home but Man Utd never looked like scoring. They never looked like scoring.
If that happens in this game, Arsenal will get frustrated and they will let in Chelsea. But I think Mourinho will go there, make sure they don’t lose, and that will be it.
If Arsenal did win, the difference between them would be seven points.
Football’s a funny game: Chelsea go to Leicester on Wednesday night and who’s to say Leicester don't win that by a fluke goal, Arsenal win their game in hand, and it’s four points? But I’d be shocked if Chelsea didn’t win the title from here with the manager they’ve got.
Tactically, he’s too cute. The last two games they’ve won 1-0 and probably haven’t had five shots. But they won both games – anybody else wouldn’t have won those games and that’s where the points mount up.
