The team bus of Turkish Super Lig leaders Fenerbahce was shot at by a gunman after their league victory at Rizespor, the club have said. The driver was taken to hospital but no players suffered any injuries as they travelled to Trabzon airport.

However, the governor of Trabzon said the bus appeared to have been hit by a stone and not a gunshot. The Istanbul-based team beat Rizespor 5-1 on Saturday to go top of the table, one point ahead of rivals Galatasaray.
