The Super Eagles will now host Bolivia in a friendly in Uyo on Thursday, March 26 after Brazil opted out of a proposed clash.
“We have had to work at a pace to seal agreement for this match, after the Brazilian Football Federation opted out at the last hour,” said NFF president Amaju Pinnick.
“However, we believe that the Bolivian team will give the Super Eagles a good match, as we continue to work on a second match for the Eagles.” The NFF are working assiduously to get a top–ranked African team away on March 29, as a result of the Presidential elections taking place on 28th March.
“The NFF is committed to ensuring that the Super Eagles are occupied on every FIFA window, with quality games,” Amaju added.
The March 26 game against Bolivia at the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo will be the first for Nigeria's full international side this year as they look forward to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers later in the year.africanfootball.com/news/510028/Bolivia-not-Brazil-battle-Eagles-next-month
