Alex iwobi is a young footballer that plays for Arsenal fc of England (The Gunners), a Nigerian by birth but grew up in England
The teenager is an exciting dribbler with an abundance of pace, the playmaker scored eight goals in 35 appearances during the 2013/14 campaign.
The Lagos-born attacker, who is the nephew of former Bolton star Jay-Jay Okocha, can play on either wings and has the ability to unlock defences with his direct style and incisive passes.
Alex signed his first professional contract with the club in May 2014.
The skilful youngstar enjoyed an eventful campaign, the highlight of which saw him called up to the first team squad for the capital one cup victory over west Bromwich albion.
Although he didn’t make unto the pitch at the hawthorns, he appeared to take much confidence from his call-up and he went on to feature 40 times for the various youth teams last season, scoring eight goals in the process.
Alex best form came in the FA youth cup as he scored twice against Torquay united, whilst also finding the net away to Charlton althletic. The England youth international also broken into Arsenal U21 squad, featuring eleven times for Steve Gatting’s side.
Having played the majority of his football at U18 level last season , Alex will step up to the U21 team on a permanent basis during the new campaign having signed his first professional contract with the club.
