Turkish side Besiktas talisman Demba Ba has expressed his anger after missing out on the 28-man Senegalese provisional squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set for Equatoria Guinea from mid January to early February 2015.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle United striker called for the national team coach Alain Giresse to explain why he was left out despite having scored 16 goals in 19 appearances for his current club so far this season.
The team begins their preparations in Dakar on Friday 2 January 2015 before moving to El Jadida. Morocco on Wednesday 7 January, the same day the coach will reveal his final 23 man squad.
They were pooled in Group C alongside South Africa, Ghana and Algeria.
