Arsenal’s injury problems could be about to get a rare injection of good news. The Gunners have been without French international striker Olivier Giroud in recent weeks, after the attacker broke a bone in his foot in the away match at Everton in the Premier League.
Giroud was originally expected to be out until the new year, however new photos published by the Daily Mail have given Gooners hope that Giroud may be back earlier. The pictures, taken in Paris, show Giroud spending time his his family without the need of any walking aid.
The hope is that the striker may be available again before the end of 2014, and Giroud can begin working on his new partnership with Danny Welbeck in attack.
