Sammy Ameobi, younger brother of Super Eagles star, Shola Ameobi has declared his interest to feature for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Newcastle forward is still a part of the England U-21 setup but after watching his older brother feature for Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Ameobi has now decided to commit his international future to the current African champions.

“It will be a great honour to play for Nigeria. I would love it. I have seen how it has been with my brother and the World Cup was a great experience, which I would love to experience and help make sure Nigeria participates in again,” Ameobi is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
