We pretty much saw it all in 2014, from the world cup, to Real Madrid's unforgettable La Decimal , to Gerrard's famous slip. Still 2015 promises to deliver as much as its predecessor.
Here is a top 5 ranking of likely happening events during the course of the year.
5. No Europe For BVB
With ten losses from seventeen league games we have relegation threatened candidates Borussia Dortmund.
How it has come to this no one understands, with a squad far above average, these guys find themselves been beaten comfortably by below par teams such as Herta Berlin and Frankfurt.
Also things dont seem to be getting better, especially with continuous injury to star man Marco Reus, with Kloop admitting in his last post-match interview that his players looked like Idiots on the pitch.
It may to be too soon to say whether BVB will be relegated but now it is certain there will be no European football for the German giants.
4. Manchester Back Where They Belong
The season may have begun with a home loss to Swansea, but now have way through the present season they sure don't seem like the toothless bunch we came to know last season.
Rejuvenated by the signing of Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid, the red devils have been much better with a present point tally of 36 putting them in the 3rd spot on the EPL log.
Still far from their best, but hopes are still high as they soar under the management of Louis Van Gaal.
3. The Old Lady On The Throne
Her name is Juventus, and she does not like to share. They are not just Serie A defending Champions but also winners of the League for the past three seasons, and I duly expect that to continue in 2015.
They have the most exceptional squad in the league, though under a change of management, it still seems a no brainier, they can as well be given the old lady the title already .
2. ....And The EPL Champions Are Chelsea
Yes ,i said Chelsea. The team with a formidable defence, pace, trickery and of course THE Special one.
Chelsea have won the league in all season when they were top at Christmas, Mourinho has won the league whenever he was top of the table halfway through the season, now imagine what happen when both parties meet.
Its all but settled, Manchester City will just have to settle for second place.
1. It Is Ronaldo Possible
Yes am referring to the Champions League. Since the inauguration of the competition to its current format in 1992. The competition has not had back to back champions, but that could soon change.
They are as good as a team could possibly be. When all the players are at their best they would probably beat a world eleven of other players, they are simply something else.
With the phenomenal Cristiano Ronaldo in the team , it is only fair to say anything is possible and it will be no surprise if they turn out to be champions of Europe once more in 2015.
Well i believe all i have prophesied above will come forth in this new year, let me know which you think is true or false, as well as your own possible happenings of the year and happy new years to you .
